This is our first full week at home since school let out, as the remainder of last week was spent recovering from Camping and Rain and Horses and Cousins and other fun stuff , and Lucy and EJ are already excited about 2nd grade and kindergarten starting in two months. So yesterday afternoon they had a little "school" time at home, writing stories with their teacher/mom. Here are their productions.
The first belongs to Lucy and is a fictional account of what she hopes will happen at her mom's ultrasound appointment (which is another six weeks away), entitled "The Ultrasound".
The second is from EJ, titled "The Robot, and the Wicked Aliens, and the Planet Bleep-Blop" (It reads starting at chapter "1" on the right, then to "2" on the left).
This last one is by Lucy, titled "The Tortoise".
Budding literary and illustrative geniuses, the both of them!

Wonderful! I love the story line of Planet Bleep -Blop and the ultrasound illustrations. Kids' stories are so fun. They have great imaginations.
